Apr 25, 2005 · With the information supplied by Mr. Ingler, I contacted the AACA and they informed me that cars began arriving in Cleveland for the Glidden Tour on Sunday, Sept. 13. On Monday, Sept. 14, 1953, there was a parade of cars through Cleveland as well as the opening banquet. The Tour left Cleveland on Tuesday morning, Sept. 15.
