The Adams Tight Lies GT Tour irons would not win a beauty contest, espcially when compared to its competitors (i.e. Hogan Apex Plus, etc.), but it sure hits the ball better, and I like the dull finish. The irons feature a blade-like set up with a minimal amount of off-set.

The Tight Lies 2 head design also seems to make it work in the deep rough as well as the tight fairways. The stock shaft works nicely for my swing as well. Some people will complain about the stock grip, but Adams uses it on almost all of their clubs and I have the full set of XTD Ti irons.4.3/5

I have tryed most of them. The Adams gave me the launch angle and dependability I have wanted. The shaft is a very light weight 55g shaft? I feel the club needs a heavier shaft for my proformance and feel to be achived with the new Tight Lies club, this club is a dead ringer. Adams did a great job on this one.

Nov 07, 2013 · For many of you I'm reasonably certain the Adams Tight Lies Fairway will be a an easy and direct replacement for a fairway wood or long hybrid. From everywhere else...the places where I play more shots than I'd like, the Adams Tight Lies Fairway handled the nasty stuff a bit better.
