The Alberta Provincial Soils Tour is held every couple of years depending upon interest and efforts of volunteers in the soils community. The 2011 tour saw an enthusiastic response as the tour was sold out. August 3rd, 4th and 5th saw sixty soils experts, students, enthusiasts and researchers touring soils and landscapes of the Peace Region.
