On arrival at Allee Bleue we were all offered a glass of bubbly and very soon we wandered down to their herb tunnels. The tour was super – rows and rows of all types of herbs cultivated for the large retail market. Amazingly the herbs move from farm to shelf in just 2 days, picked early in the morning, sorted, packed and collected by 14h00.

Jan 21, 2014 · We were kindle escorted on a herb tour on the farm – WOW! Allee Bleue supply herbs to Pick n Pay, the Shoprite group and various restaurants. It was wonderful to learn and see how the herbs are grown on the farm from the actual planting, growing methods, shelters to the packing, labelling and transporting of the herbs.
