Sep 10, 2019 · Army Overseas Service Ribbons (OSR) are awarded to Soldiers credited with a normal overseas tour completion. Tours lengths for Iraq and Afghanistan have not been established, but Soldiers who serve 9 continuous months in a TCS/TDY status, or 11 cumulative months (within a 24 month period), are credited with a short overseas tour.
