At 6:40 AM on September 10, I mounted my bicycle in the parking lot of our hotel in San Diego CA and recorded my first pedal stroke. 26 days, 2943 miles and 101,000 feet of climbing later I unclipped my right foot and coasted to a stop into the welcoming arms of my wife and daughter in front of our hotel in Tybee Island GA.
