The Monstein Route features fantastic but also challenging single trails between Jatzmeder and the Walser village of Monstein, with beautiful panoramic views of the mountains surrounding Davos. The tour across the Hauderalp is at times technically very demanding, but does open up a stunning vista of the lower Landwasser valley.

There are several peaceful walking possibilities on the Rinerhorn. You could take a meandering walk back down to Glaris, or go across the mountain, via Waldalp at 1,830m and down to Frauenkirch.
