Re: Famous band that were support-acts of Sabbath? Blue Oyster Cult opened for them on the Born Again (aka Black & Blue) tour. It was more of a co-headliner thing than a support act. Buck Dharma tore it up. If I remember correctly BOC was supporting their Mirrors album. Van Halen opened for them on the Never Say Die tour.
