Dec 15, 2009 · Blackberry says there is no final OS for the 9650 out yet, and would NOT give a formal release date, but it is EXPECTED to come out sometime "after the end of April". There are numerous software and hardware issues that have NOT been resolved yet, and the phone will not be released until those issues are fixed.

Verizon won’t release the 9650 until the official OS 5.0 arrives for the Tour 9630. The Sprint 9650’s are having WiFi issues and Sprint is working that out. And at the end of the email he states: “it won’t be called the Tour 2. It’s the Bold 9650.” So there are definite delays regarding the new Tour/ Bold.

Jan 31, 2010 · Hi there, So I have a tour 2 9650. And the phone is sweet. Taking a little time to get used to the keypad as I upgraded from an 8330 but I'll get it eventually. Anyways my issue is this, I am using it for personal use, but cannot send/receive pin messages, my bbm doesn't send/receive invites, and it won't let me setup a personal email.
