Warning this will wipe all your 3rd party apps so know which ones who had or have a back up of them all. 1. Jan 16, 2010 · Well, I had to update to the "unofficial" BlackBerry Tour 9630 OS 5.0.0.230. Once I did that, no more Software 552 errors. I've heard that BlackBerry Tour 9630 OS 5.0.0.273 (again, unofficial) is also available. I hated being afraid to install new apps! I'm also surprised RIM makes no acknowledgment of this problem.
