Jul 23, 2009 · 1) Backup your Tour to desktop software Application. 2) goto: Options, Security Options, General Settings, Then hit the Blackberry Key and choose "Wipe Handheld". It should take about 8-9 minutes but i can tell you that it works and its worth it the wait. I have a new phone.

Aug 04, 2009 · Is it me or the outgoing voice quality on the tour seems muffled and quiet at times? I have had two friends say that to me so far. I think it has to do with the placement of the microphone at the bottom of the unit or something. One person on blackberry forum suggested a phone wipe can fix it. Feed back is greatly appreciated thx.

After a replacement, most of my problems went away, except people saying I sound muffled. Its annoying and may end up going with the Pre, even though I love my Tour. If nobody can hear me, why do I have the "Phone" in the first place. Signal meter is still bouncing off the wall though.

Yes much better now, I can hear my bass, it's like the pillows they were holding over my speakers are gone! But apparently people who have really low end speakers or 7.1 atmos speakers didn't have any probs with the sound, but those with average to medium-high quality speakers heard muffled garbage like they held a pillow to your speaker, this reminds me of several games that ran sh!t on high ...
