Mar 11, 2011 · I recently got a blackberry bold (Rogers) and unlocked it and using my sim from FIDO. I have a BB data plan as well. The icon that shows up on the main screen beside the FIDO name is a triangle which indicates roaming. Now I dont think I am roaming, but afraid that I am incurring charges. If I go into manage connections and turn data roaming off, I lose all access to data services.

Since you got the phone in Santa Fe, you are normally covered by an Alltel system with a 'System ID' # of 1499. When you go to Albuquerque, that area is covered by an Alltel system with a 'System ID' # of 79.
