Jul 27, 2009 · I too have the muffled sound. I also hear it muffled when dialing another person and the ring sounds muffled and cracking. Verizon is sending me a new tour. Hope it works better. Otherwise the device is great.

Jul 23, 2009 · I will do test calling when I get mines today and if it sounds 'muffled' i will wipe everything before i go through all that time adding apps/contacts & etc. THIS COMES STRAIGHT FROM THE BLACKBERRY FORUMS I think i may have Solved the poor Audio Issues that are plauging thousands of blackberry tours !! Aug 04, 2009 · Is it me or the outgoing voice quality on the tour seems muffled and quiet at times? I have had two friends say that to me so far. I think it has to do with the placement of the microphone at the bottom of the unit or something. One person on blackberry forum suggested a phone wipe can fix it.
