We hiked down the Captain Cook trail to the monument for snorkeling with our local friend. The hike is 1.8 miles each way, with 1300 foot change in elevation on a dirt/lava rock path. It's not a physically hard hike, but it is really HOT in places where there is no shade.4.5/5(569)
