The peculiarity of the vineyard, having been acquired over generations, is that it is divided into more than twenty plots scattered throughout the city of Saint-Estèphe making it highly representative of the appellation. Three quarters of the plots are located in deep gravel areas and deserve the term "Upper Vineyard".
