They are great irons and i congradulate cleveland golf on a great success.4.3/5(112)

Overall, they have been very good and have improved my confidence with my long iron play. However; I feel the PW is too bulky (replace with a Cleveland RTG) and the short irons have too much offset. I believe the addtional offset causes me to pull short irons. I'm currently looking for a model (like the TA7 tour) with less offset in the short ...4.3/5(112)

Jul 29, 2002 · The ta-5 is a true game improvement iron. The 7 is a game improvement iron geared more towards the players cb market. More traditional shape, low offset in the short irons, thinner sole, etc. They are kind of a combo of the TA3 and the TA5 in many regards. I have a set of TA7 with DGX100 Sensicore shafts that I may put in the bag.

Jul 08, 2004 · I'm looking for new irons and I'm considering Ping G2 and Cleveland's irons. However I'm pretty much confused as to which set of Cleveland would be right for me. I checked Cleveland site but I'm still confused. From what I understand, TA6 are more forgiving, TA7 a bit less forgiving but allows to work the ball a bit more. TA7 tour being somewhere between blades (workable) and cavity back (easy ...

Jul 20, 2014 · Great irons...arguably the best irons Cleveland every made. The TA7's sold more sets, but those TA5s were sweet. Mid-profile compared to a lot of current clubs, but as easy to hit as anything made today. The TA6's came out a few years later and were a VERY underrated iron. To me they were an updated TA5.
