We have been thinking about combining MZT and Copper Canyon also. An option we have found is fly to MZT spend a aeek or whatever in Mazatlan and take a bus (Mex busses are pretty nice) to Los Mochis or El Fuerte and take the train to Creel and fly home out of Chihuahua.Haven't come up with a "great" way to do it yet. Caravan tours has a "guided" trip of the Copper Canyon.
