The normal route is taking HSR train to Taichung and change to Nantou bus from there. Neither E-go bus nor OK bus are registered bus operators on this route. They are tour operators. That's to be said, E-go bus has been around for some time and may be reliable.

From Puli > Chingjing farm 清境農場 (final destination Sung-gang 松崗 or Tsuei-fong 翠峰). by Taiwan DIY:. Nantou buses depart Puli at 0600, 0710, 0835, 1020, 1400 and 1635 hrs for Chingjing farm (via Wu-she).. You should be able to connect to the Nantou bus departing Puli at 1020 hrs to Chingjing Farm. The final destination signs on the buses indicate heading to Sung-gang or Tsuei-fong.

There are some suggestions: 1. I think your first day will stay in Chika Hut. It take about 5 hours from Wuling Farm to Chika Hut and take about 4 hours from Taipei to Wuling by driving. It is a little bite rush. 2.Another soulution is stay at Yilan City for one night and take the early bus to Wuling. Cheaper(including transportation and accomodation) and easier.
