Nov 21, 2012 · So I think it's worth a fair shot. I don't believe there will be any issue, especially with it being your first tour. The judges reactions are based off of the Garden Points, and if you go with the singular Wooden and Stone Sets, along with the fall theme, you'll have 150 points for the Wooden Set, 150 Points for the Stone Set, and 100 Points for the Fall Theme.

Aug 24, 2013 · I'm sorry - I just had a question about the Gardening Tour result that I received. Following another player's tip, I filled the entire Gardening Area with Weathervanes, and Weathervanes only. Nothing else. From what I calculated, each Weathervane offers 15 Gardening Points, so having 36 should give 540 Gardening Points, which is a good amount.

Sep 06, 2010 · I used Fogu to design my gardening tours. Tips: Look at the guide that /u/Guardie posted and try to get sets of things together. Don't underestimate things like fences and milk cans and lamps that you already have laying around. Bushes and flowers are cool and all but if you're not making a set don't bother with them.

I've heard that you want each garden tour to be better than the last so I decided to leave myself plenty of room for improvement. The for the first one I rounded up the boxes, barrels and fences in my town and threw those up on the garden area with a wooden arch, signpost and milk cans. I think I put a wooden bench up there, too (can't remember).
