The historic Grove Farm sugar plantation homestead museum is open weekly for tours! If you love history, architecture or beautiful gardens, there is something for everyone. Started in 1850 and opened as a museum in 1980, the homestead was the home to the Wilcox family who grew sugar on Kauai. 2-hour guided tours are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at either 10:00am or 1:00pm.

Dec 18, 2014 · Grove Farm Homestead was the home and plantation of the Wilcoxes - it was a large sugar plantation in the day - I believe 1950's-1960's. My cousin and I experienced a wonderful tour, our guide, Dick, was the great grandson of a Wilcox sister and had visited the main home on the lovely grounds on many occassions growing up.5/5(141)
