As for Sahara it Hammamet is a fair distnace from Hammamet. Any trip would reuqires at leat an overnigh stay somewhere on the Journey. It is a long jounrney, and can be exhausting for some people. My concern is the fact that you have a 3 1/2 year child, The Sahara can deceivingly be cold at night time especially in winter months.
