2015 Tour Review

    The local yarn shop tour celebrated its 10th year in 2015. The tour featured 26 shops including four new shops and five full days to give participants more time to visit each and every shop! We hope you visited them all! Each shop again gave away a free pattern, discounted yarns for that pattern, free shop pins and hosted a daily drawing.

    The first Puget Sound Local Yarn Shop (LYS) Tour, possibly the first yarn crawl in North America, was founded by a couple of yarn shop owners who liked to party (looking at you, Victoria). Back in 2006, there were 12 shops. Many of those are still on the tour. It began as a long, three-day weekend.
