Aug 14, 2006 · Having read both "the book" (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil) and saw the movie of the same title, on my 3rd visit to Savannah was delighted to learn that the Mercer House was open for tours. However, the staff bluntly refused to answer ANY questions about "the shooting" (Williams was eventually acquitted, so ya can't say "murder").5/5(1.4K)
