Dec 20, 2008 · metallix 10000 It split about 4 granuts above where 10000 is painted on the side, almost mid frame. It was strung at 27lbs. It's a diagonal split. The racquet is excellent, I find it accurate and good feel at the net. I found the factory grip too thin, so went to a thicker HEAD grip. I was just curious if others had the same problem.
