Smallmouth bass fishing on Lake St. Clair is our primary focus when it comes to bass fishing. Lake St. Clair is one of, if not the best, smallmouth fisheries in the country. Though 20 to 25 fish per day is the normal, at times 50 or more fish per day is possible. The average sizes of the smallmouth are 2 to 3 pounds with some 3 to 4 pound fish mixed in. Occasionally, 5 plus pound fish are caught.
