We followed guidance from Martin Volken’s Backcountry Ski and Snowboard Routes Washington guidebook, although we did opt for a slightly different route on the way up. It's pretty easy to follow (lots of cairns), and some great views of Circle Lake (and many other lakes) and the Citadel to your left and the valley below to your right.
