I’m a huge Neil Gaiman fan, having read Sandman and all of his novels, and Neverwhere was always my favourite of his books, moreso than American Gods which most people seem to prefer.

As I recall she commented something along the lines that for the first tour you go for the adventure, the second for the money and every one after because you don't fit anywhere else.
