El Tour de Tucson Held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving, El Tour attracts over 9,000 cyclists from throughout the United States and beyond who ride 106, 76, 54, 37 or 28 miles along the perimeter of Tucson, AZ. The Fun Ride offers shorter miles (10, 5, or 1 miles) on a generally flat course mostly using the Santa Cruz River path.

This is a recap of the 1983 season for the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour. It was the tour's 25th season, and consisted of 35 events. Earl Anthony registered his second career "three-peat" at the PBA National Championship, giving him six titles in this event overall.(He had also won the event three years in a row from 1973–75.)
