Nov 17, 2018 · I have tried to find a way to review this tour, but couldn't figure it out so I am filing it under this hotel, which was our first stop. I have read many negative reviews of Perillo, and I have to say my experience was quite different. One thing that helped me plan, though, was that people complained mostly about the food!5/5

For us, Perillo provided an excellent service with the exception of the food. Our desire was to be as worry free as possible and have the opportunity to see and learn as much as we could on our stay. Although the tour is fairly fast paced, you will enjoy plenty of down time. You will be amazed how much you will see.

I slept great! Upsides: Perillo's North Continental tour is a convenient way to visit many key cities in Italy and view many of the iconic sites such as La Scala Opera House, Pisa, Lake Como, the Academia and Michelangelo's David in Florence, San Marcos Piazza and the Doges Palace in Venice, Pompeii, the Colosseum in Rome, and much more. The local tour guides are highly knowledgeable and excellent.

 Perillo Tours does a wonderful job from start to finish, getting you to all the sights in style. Great choices for restaurants and hotels, and the tour guides and bus driver were outstanding. They fit a lot of travel into 14 days so be prepared for some walking (I did 16,000 steps one day!).

I think some of the reviews I've read are a little unfair to Perillo Tours. I did their North Continental tour back in 2013 and was more than satisfied with the organization and quality of the tour. Our guide Gianni did a superb job. We got to see a lot and I felt pampered.
