Park at the Elbow Lake trailhead parking lot and follow the summer trail. Once at the campground, turn right and follow the trail along the south side of the lake until it joins the Rae Glacier trail at the NE corner of the lake. Continue up the creek drainage. Once on the moraines, use caution as the approach to the bowl can be pretty rocky.
