Jan 15, 2020 · Youth Tour 2017 When: June 21 - 26, 2020 Youth Tour offers high school juniors the opportunity to go to Washington, D.C. for a week and experience all the beauty and history of the nation’s capital. Participants will see the U.S. Capitol, meet with congressmen from Pennsylvania, tour national monuments and visit the National Zoo.

North West RECs Youth Tour

Each year, North West REC sponsors a Youth Tour contest. Two students receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. This years' trip is scheduled for June 18-25, 2020. Sons and daughters of North West REC member-consumers, who are juniors in high school, are eligible and encouraged to participate.

The 2020 Youth Tour (June 18-25, 2020) Each year Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative sponsors two students to go to Washington, DC to visit our Nation's Capital. The Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives in Des Moines coordinates the Youth Tour. Lyon REC will provide an all expense paid trip for two high school juniors in Lyon REC's service area.
