Holidays Gems are just another shonky OTA. They aren't Atol holders. It's the Global Travel Group that is the Atol holder. It doesn't mean anything though because UK agents or tour operators cannot sell either packages or flight plus holidays without one. They don't sell package holidays online, only flight plus so you have separate contracts for each element booked.

Kayden Spencer, that was the name of the young man that helped us book our holiday. Not only did he save us money but arranged an extra couple nights for the same price. Regarding a holiday i had booked and paid for. Sam was very apologetic and explained everything clearly and was very friendly and polite. Everything was sorted within a few minutes. However i disagree that Holiday Gems can Advertise a holiday which you pay for in full and then come back 3 days later advising that the price had gone up.
