May 02, 2012 · Joe, the underground tour includes the upper tier as well. It doesn't include a tour of the main areas of the colosseum. If you are taking the underground tour you really don't need to do the regular tour as most of the information is the same on both tours. If you really want to do both tours you should call to book the second tour.

Wendy, the information in the underground tour is about the structure and construction of the colosseum. It's basically the same information given on the regular tours and on the audio tours. Chris, yes the underground tour is very good. It's hard to get on and most of the tours for April, May and June are already sold out.
