If you must have an old Ross, look for a Super Gran Tour or better; all alloy components with QR front and rear versus the steel parts on the other two.

If you're looking for a bike so that you can start cycling for fun or as a hobby, or even to commute on, I wouldn't even suggest taking that bike for free.

I have also thrown a 27inch track wheelset on it I had laying around and fixied it.
