Big Room is fantastic and we enjoyed our hike which goes around the hill where caverns are located. We were so fascinated by the geological formations of Big Room that we returned a few days later and took the Throne/Rotunda tour and hiked on Guindani Trail. This trail is easy in the beginning but it progresses to more demanding sections.

Jun 06, 2020 · If you are limited for time, the Rotunda Tour is the one you want. That is the one that is open all year and includes the spectacular Kubla Kahn formation. If you have time and are not there during bat season, the Big Room Tour is also worth the time.5/5(1.7K)

The Big Room is closed for a portion of the year while the bats are there. I can't compare the different tours myself, but have heard others say that the Rotunda/Throne room was their favorite tour - it is really spectacular. over a year agoReviews: 1.7K

Jun 06, 2020 · Big Room tour was not available as it was bat season but the other Rotunda and Throne Room tour did not disappoint. I didn't mind not being able to take photos and it let's you enjoy the full cave experience instead. Date of experience: May 2017.5/5(1.7K)

Jun 01, 2020 · There are two separate tours and an adult costs $19 for the Rotunda / Throne Room tour and $23 for the Big Room Tour. Admission to the park is FREE with reservations.
