The Dumfries Open is the second stop on this Season's Goldline Scottish Curling Tour. The event features 12 teams in two pools of 6, with the first games at 3pm on Friday (4th October). Section A features last weekend's finalists Team L Carson, who'll be looking to go one step further and get their hands on the trophy in Dumfries.

Tours. The Royal Caledonian Curling Club organises a number of friendship tours both incoming and outgoing for men and women. The oldest of these tour relationships is between the Scottish and Canadian men – in 2009 it was 100 years since the first Canadian tour party arrived in Scotland.
