The best way to get there would be to cross Puget Sound and take 101 around the north end of Olympic National park-- past Port Angeles.You have a couple options. Most people either take the Bainbridge Island ferry or the Edmonds ferry.. The benefit of the Bainbridge Island ferry is that it departs from downtown Seattle.The trip is about 35 minutes.
