We just returned from the Imperial China 15 day trip with Sinorama. Reading the reviews prepared us fairly well. Yes, the carpets are dirty in the hotels, but they provide slippers and otherwise the accommodations were very good. Breakfasts were good although sometimes opened later than we preferred when we had an early excursion.

We just returned from the Sinorama 23 day tour of China and must say it was fantastic. Yes everything is pre-arranged but there is really no other way in which to see all that is shown in the brochure. The organization which Sinorama does to make all this happen is quite amazing.

In spite of seriously polluted air in most parts of China we traveled, I have enjoyed and learned a lot about dynamic modern China, spectacular archeological sites and relics and splendid natural beauty.

First of all, the hotels and our guide Forrest were great, but the hotels were a minimum of an hours drive to and from any tour stops. After a 14 hour plane flight, we were told our hotel was still an hour and a half away.4/5(736)

I'm happy to say we did the 24-day China tour with Sinorama (in March) and it was absolutely amazing. As it turned out, we had 20 people so had a tour leader with us all the way, Lisa Wang. She was very professional and amicable... we were sorry to leave her! Everything went smoothly, all the domestic flights, first-class hotels, and so on.
