Gorge powerhouse was built from 1921-1924 for $13 million. It was the first part of the Skagit Hydroelectric Project which also includes Diablo Dam (1927-1930) and Ross Dam (1937-1940, 1953).

Oct 04, 2013 · First to Review We were able to get reservations for the Seattle City Light Powerhouse Tour, which not only included guided tours of Gorge, Diablo, and Ross Powerhouses, but lunch and a boat ride. In 2013 there were only six tours (120 people total). I'll edit my review later - but this was an excellent tour.4.5/5(2)
