Public Events SLAC holds a variety of public events, including lectures and scientific conferences. If you are coming to SLAC to attend one of these events, simply enter through the main gate off of Sand Hill Road. Stay in the left lane, stop at the guard house, and let SLAC security staff know what event you're attending. You will also need to present a valid, government-issued photo ID.
