Tawas Point Lighthouse sits within Tawas Point State Park. The grounds around the lighthouse are beautiful. While we didn't tour the lighthouse itself, we did visit the gift shop at the base, and wander around the grounds. Overall, a great location to stop at.4.5/5(161)

12:00 pm – 4:00 pm the Friends of the Tawas Point Lighthouse and State Park will be welcoming visitors to the lighthouse for a donation. Visitors are free to tour the lighthouse, ask questions, and climb the tower. A Recreation Passport is required or entry to the State Park.
