I did a European tour this summer and it was a NIGHTMARE. First many of the hotels had no a/c, wifi, elevators (be prepared to hike up 5 flights of stairs with your bag), were moldy and the breakfast buffet was infested with bugs. Also, my trip leader was terrible.

The tour was full of early 20's people who just wanted to get constantly drunk. The air conditioning on the coach broke after a couple of days so we spent two weeks driving around with no air con, with stinky hungover people with booze coming out of their pores, sweating our butts off in the middle of summer.
