Dec 29, 2003 · i,m looking at buying a tour buddy gas tank for my 02mxz my 2 buddies have them .but they dont use them much because i dont have one .the thought of all that gas sitting in the engine compartment makes me nervous .has any body had any bad experinces with the tour buddy let me know. and if anybody has one for sale for a 2002 mxz800 let me know.

Oct 21, 2008 · On tour buddy set ups the spare tank is connected to the main tank's vent line, so that as the main tank emptys it sucks gas into it from the spare tank through the vent line. The spare tank has a vented cap on it which makes up for the main tanks vent being filled with fuel.
