La Tour de By was bought in 1965 by Messieurs Pages, Cailloux and Lapalu - they extended the cuvier and installed new cellars and today the property produces over 40,000 cases of wine a year. The wine is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. It is matured in oak barriques (20% new) for 14 months.
