Oct 01, 2014 · The Tour de Dung (as in “Dungeness”) bicycle races were held in Sequim yesterday. The course is just short of 12 miles on a beautiful route described as “safe, dry, fast, and flat.” I enjoyed taking a front row seat. The weather was good — that is, no rain or wind.

Mar 23, 2009 · The Tour de Dung was the following Sunday. Andy and I took the ferry over and it was (thank goodness) a dry day of racing. We had about 60 riders total (as they split the 4/5 field) so not a huge field, but not small either. The race is basically flat, but with a strong wind. So there was no major hill to break the race apart.
