The Tour de Tonka began in 2006 with three different ride distances to choose from, a 15 mile ride, a 25 mile ride and a 65 mile ride. The 2009 Tour de Tonka offers five different distances, 16, 38, 72 and 75 mile rides, and a new 2 Mile Smile youth ride. 819 riders participated in the first event.

Aug 04, 2009 · 2009 Tour de Tonka I've done this event for the past three years and it just keeps getting better and better. This year the ride was altered to include a 75 mile ride. With any luck they'll figure out how to put in another 25 so next year they have a full century.
