Eckley Miners’ Village, a property of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC), remains closed to the public. As part of the Commonwealth’s network, Eckley will reopen at the direction of the Governor’s administration. During the Yellow Phase, the grounds can be accessed for passive and dispersed recreation.

Guided tours include a one mile walk, provide inside access to miners houses, churches, and community buildings, and last approximately 1 ½ hours. Tours are dependent upon staffing and weather so please call ahead. Guided group tours for 10 or more are available year-round and can be reservedby calling the museum at (570) 636-2070.
