It might be. It is certainly CA’s roughest century with some of the crappiest roads I’ve ever ridden.

The 2008 tour was one of the best to date with a great turnout and ideal weather. There was a total of 1,015 participants and 513 100-mile riders. Tour Director Vic Armijo told me that the 100-mile turnout was one the best in recent years, especially considering the rising cost of gas prices.
