gemduncan, you will absolutely be fine and enjoy the Tranquilo South Side Tour. We have done it twice with Captain Anthony (several years ago). Now, IMO snorkeling will not compare at all to STJ, but it is still a nice day out and worth doing it. And no, the snorkel does not need to be in rough waters.
