The largest boneyard in the world, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, does allow tours of its Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) facility. It is the only boneyard open to the public, but under strict access rules. AMARG is a controlled-access facility and thus off-limits to personnel without the proper clearance.

Apr 13, 2020 · The Boneyard Tour Tickets for this tour of the Boneyard are purchased at the Pima Air & Space Museum, but they do go very fast so arrive early if you want to get on. I'd always heard about places like this, with row upon row of mothballed aircraft sitting out in the desert sun, but never thought I'd get to take a tour around one.5/5(118)
